    • Bruce L. Olphin, 63, of Charlotte Harbor, Fla., died at 10:28 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Port Charlotte, Fla. He was the husband of Shirley A. (Becker) Olphin.
      The service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bethany United Methodist Church, 121 W. Broadway, Red Lion. Burial will be in St. Luke Lutheran Cemetery in Chanceford Township. Viewings will be 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Home Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with a Masonic service at 8:30 p.m., and 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
      Mr. Olphin was born Aug. 22, 1934, in Red Lion. He was the son of the late Nolan B. and Mildred E. (Arnold) Olphin.
      He was owner and operator of Red Lion Upholstering, retiring in December 1996. He also owned and operated Mr. B's Crab Galley in Ocean City, Md., from 1984 to 1989. He was a 50-year member of Bethany United Methodist Church, a member of its Men's Bible Class, Pennsylvania Club of Charlotte County, Fla., Zembo Temple of Harrisburg, York County Shrine Club, Red Lion Lodge 649 of Free and Accepted Masons and Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Harrisburg. Active in scouting, he was awarded the Scout's Key and was past Mason-Dixon district commissioner.
      Mr. Olphin also is survived by a son, Phil B. Olphin; two daughters, Debra S. Poff of York and Linda M. Henshaw of Red Lion; four grandchildren; and a brother, N. Lee Olphin of Red Lion.
      Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Charles W. Salisburg and the Rev. Robert Stokes.
      Memorial contributions may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church, 121 W. Broadway, Red Lion 17356; or to Boy Scouts of America, York-Adams Area Council, Camp Tuckahoe, 2139 White St., York 17404.
