- RED LION - Albert J. Fisher Sr, 81, died Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at his residence in Windsor Township. He was the husband of Terreasa M. (Wiggins) Fisher. The couple celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary July 31, 2004. A graveside service will be 1 p.m., Friday at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, with full military honors provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. A funeral cortege will assemble at the cemetery entrance at 12:45 p.m. Officiating the service will be Chaplain Craig Newton of VNA/Hospice Services. Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Fisher was born May 14, 1923, in Trevorton. He was the son of the late Jesse and Katie M. (Leader) Fisher. He was employed as a Machinist at the former Columbia Products Incorporated in Dallastown for 10 years, until his retirement in 1984. After retiring he started a woodworking shop out of his home. Mr. Fisher was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II. In addition to his wife, Mr. Fisher is survived by one son, Albert J. Fisher, Jr. of Brogue; one daughter, Sharon L. Fisher of Red Lion; four grandchildren, Jenny Williams, Jill Waltman, Jim Olphin and Sarah Fisher; five great-grandchildren; and a niece and nephew. He was preceded in death by one brother; and one sister.
