    • On Friday June 7, Christopher Douglas Baer, age 41, passed away peacefully at home in York after a year long battle with cancer. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Barbara Baer, his father and mother Douglas and Evelyn Baer of Columbia, and his sister Lisa Baer of Las Vegas, Nevada. He is also survived by his grandmother Doris Liepa of Salunga, wife of Olgerts Liepa, and also his best 4 legged buddy Marley who is now being lovingly cared for by his grandmother. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Harold M. Baer, who recently passed away on Feb. 1, 2013, and his maternal grandparents Gladys Runkle and Chester Runkle.
Chris enjoyed visiting and camping with his in-laws Pete and Linda Kish of Ohio with his wife Barb.
