    • CATAWBA, OH Clair William Warner, 89, formerly of Hanover, died Wednesday afternoon, July 7, 2010. He was born in Hanover, on February 13, 1921, the son of the late Pete and Jottie (Furry) Warner. Clair served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII. He retired as a paper maker from P.H. Glatfelter Paper Company and was a Little League Baseball coach for many years. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Yvonne A. (Mummert) Warner; three sons, Michael and wife, Judy Warner of Hanover, Randy and wife, Carol Warner of Byfield, Mass., and Matthew Warner of Catawba, Ohio; two brothers, Robert and wife, Ginny Warner of East Berlin, and Shorty Warner of Harrisburg; four grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Warner. Services were held at the family's convenience. The Littleton & Rue Funeral Home, Springfield, Ohio, is serving the family.
