    • DALLASTOWN Faye B. Gipe Snyder, 90, passed away Monday morning at her home. She was the wife of Earl L. Gipe who died in 1973, and William 'Hattie' Snyder who died in 2006. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc. 104 W. Main St. Dallastown, with Pastor Patricia Bollinger officiating. Burial will be in Shenberger Chapel Cemetery. Viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Snyder was born March 24, 1919, in Chanceford Twp., the daughter of the late Charles and Frances (Burk) Blouse. Mrs. Snyder was a life member of Shenberger Chapel Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and a member of the choir. She had been employed by L.D. Frey and Son and the House of Windsor for many years prior to her retirement in 1983. She was also an active member of the auxiliary of the New Bridgeville Fire Company. Mrs. Snyder is survived by two stepsons, Rodney E. Snyder of Red Lion and Michael L. Snyder of York; four stepgrandchildren; 11 step great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Charlotte Schnetzka; and a brother, Charles Blouse. Mrs. Gipe Snyder's family has suggested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice 3417-C Concord Rd. York, PA 17402; or to Shenberger Chapel Church Out of the Ashes Fund 10085 Chapel Church Rd. Red Lion, PA 17356.
