- Dallastown - Charles R. Grim,99, of Dallastown, formerly of Crossroads, died Monday at York Hospital.
Charles was born on January 7,1901, in Windsor Township. He was the son of the late Oliver and Alice(Neff) Grim Grove.
He was a cigar maker for Wolf's Cigar Co. in Red Lion. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church.
Mr. Grim is survived by two daughters, Naomi E. Brown and Irene K. Heininger, both of Red Lion; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; a sister, Florence I. Target of Pleasant Acres; and nieces and nephews.
The service for Charles will be at 10a.m. Thursday at the Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Home Inc.,,35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. Viewing will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Officiating at the service will be his pastor, the Rev. Stephany S. Sechrist.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 3607 Rosemount Ave., Camp Hill 17011.
Burial will be in Zion United Methodist Cemetery, Red Lion.
