    • SPRING GROVE Carol S. (Senft) Ginter, 65, passed away at home with her family by her side on Tuesday, December 9, 2014. She was the loving wife of Albert C. Ginter Jr. Together they shared over 49 years of marriage. Carol was born in York, on June 5, 1949. She was predeceased by her mother, Esta M. Kohler, who died when she was just two years old, her father, Paul Senft, and her stepmother, Edna (Lehman) Senft. She attended Spring Grove High School and worked as a seamstress at York Garment Co. for many years. She enjoyed babysitting for family and friends and was a longtime member of Faith Evangelical Congregational Church in Bairs Station and The Women's Auxiliary of the Spring Grove VFW. In addition to her husband, Albert, she is survived by her sons, Albert P. Ginter and wife, Carmen Judy of Abbottstown, and Jason W. Ginter of Spring Grove; and her grandchildren, Meghan Vermiglio and husband, Jake, and Brandon Ginter. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Barley, Nancy Lefever, and Diane Moffitt; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Leroy Lehman. A funeral service in celebration of her life will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Irwin-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service Inc., 175 N Main St., Spring Grove, with the Rev. Michael Campbell officiating. Interment will be held privately by the family. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to H.A.R.T., 450 E. Golden Lane, New Oxford, PA 17350; or Faith Evangelical Congregational Church, 833 Stoverstown Road, York, PA 17408.
