    • FELTON Juanita A. Grove, R.N., 77, died Monday, April 19, 2010, at her home. She was the wife of the Rev. Sonny L. Grove. Interment will be private. A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Friday at Bethany United Methodist Church, 41 High St., Felton, with Pastor Robert Jacobs officiating. A reception in the church hall will follow the service. Born November 14, 1932, in York, Juanita was the daughter of the late Norman E. and Urmah R. (Snyder) Downs. Juanita was a graduate of Red Lion High School and Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing, and was a member of the Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association. She worked as a Registered Nurse at York Hospital, the Shrewsbury Lutheran Home, and Pleasant Acres; as a Surgical Nurse for Dr. Michael Bowser; as a Relief Nurse at the former AMF Corporation in York; and retired as a private duty cancer nurse. Juanita was a Lifetime Charter Member of the York Archers, Inc. and a life member of the Charlie and Ollie Cross Hunting Preserve in Clinton County. She was an avid archer, hunter, and outdoorswoman, as well as a skilled vegetable and flower gardener. Juanita attended Bethany United Methodist Church in Felton. She was a Prayer Warrior for those in need, was active in her husband's drawing ministry, and helped countless others receive salvation. (John 3:16) In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Forrest D. Grove; a daughter, Bonita D. Paronish and her husband, Greg; grandchildren, Jericha, Josiah, and Gabriel Paronish, and Jordan Keeny and her husband, Daniel; Christian brother and sister, Kim and Judy Kerstetter; and nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Home Health and Hospice Services, P.O. Box 2404, York, PA 17405; or to Bethany United Methodist Church, 41 High St., Felton, PA 17322 to help those in need. J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, Inc. 19 S. Main St., Stewartstown, is in charge of arrangements.
