      DALLASTOWN - Mae H. Hale, 93, of the Lewisburg United Methodist Home, where she resided for the past four years, formerly of Dallastown, died at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the home. She was the wife of the late William S. Hale.
      The service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 109 E. Main St., Dallastown. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. The Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home Inc., 104 W. Main St., Dallastown, is in charge of the arrangements.
      Mrs. Hale was born in Smythe County, Va. She was the daughter of the late Johnson M. and Margaret A. (Ferguson) Hodge.
      She was a seamstress for 20 years with the former Renee Manufacturing Co., Dallastown, retiring in 1964. She was a member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church, the Ladies Bible Class and the International Ladies Garment Union.
      Mrs. Hale is survived by two daughters, Margaret J. Tome of Dallastown, and Mabel V. Mayhew of Clarksville, Tenn.; five grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; two step-great-granddaughters; two brothers, Arthur Hodge of Baltimore, Md., and Ernest Hodge of New Park; and four sisters, Gladys Burkins of Maryland, Helen Moore of Red Lion, Margaret Strawbridge of Dallastown, and Grey Schnetzka of Stewartstown. Mrs. Hale was preceded in death by a daughter, Geneva Hale.
      Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Richard G. Felty.
      Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 109 E. Main St., Dallastown, 17313. 02-06-93
